Job Qualifications: • Work with chemicals, such as detergents, disinfectants • Lift and move 50 pounds • Routinely work up to 6 days a week, including weekends and holidays • Routine handling and interacting with live poultry • Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours • Standing for extended periods of time (6 hours) • Grip, grasp, or twist using hands and wrists • Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs • Bend and stoop repetitively throughout the shift • Prolonged exposure to dry and dusty environments • Works cooperatively with a team • Strong sense of personal responsibility. Job Description: General Responsibilities: • Prep houses for clean out • Empty feeders • Remove all debris • Raise and lower, remove or teardown equipment as necessary • Open and close house end doors as needed • Strip all litter • Scrape cement floors • Use designated chemicals to sanitize all floors, walls, slats, and machinery as defined by the SOP/WI • Move to assist in other departments as required • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
