Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log them, and prepare them for testing; perform phlebotomy if competence is demonstrated.-Maintains inventory of immunizations and check expiration dates.-Provides immunizations (as applicable) which requires certification or 3 years of experience administering a vaccine and supervision of a provider.-Responsible for improving appropriate departmental quality initiatives, such as two patient identifiers and hand hygiene. Since Express Care is a 7-day-per-week operation that delivers care during the day, evening, weekends, and holidays, the schedule for this role will require 1 on-call shifts per 4-week scheduling period, weekend, holiday coverage and the flexibility to work overtime as needed.
