The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional and compassionate customer service to our patients while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Additionally, they will assist the medical staff with basic clinical duties to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional and compassionate customer service to our patients while efficiently managing administrative tasks like scheduling , answering questions for patients, and prioritizing efficient workflow for the team. Additionally, they will assist the medical staff with basic clinical duties to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. Must be Christ-centered, ready & willing to share their God-given talents with a servant-heart.Responsibilities:<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc">Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Schedule appointments, manage patient check-ins, and verify patient information.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Answer incoming calls, provide information, and direct calls to appropriate personnel in a empathetic and gentle manner with exemplary phone etiquette.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Maintain a neat and organized reception area and waiting room area</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Create and maintain accurate complete patient files</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and requests in a courteous and timely manner</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Verify insurance information and assist patients with billing and payment questions and collecting payment</li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type:disc">Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in line with HIPAA Regulation</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems proficiently.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Handle medical correspondence, emails, and other administrative tasks as needed.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Maintain department compliance with all policies, procedures, guidelines, and requirements of the Texas Pregnancy Care Network (TPCN) contract and/or Insurance processes.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Maintain department compliance with all Guiding Star Southwest (Guiding Star Project) policies, procedures, and internal paperwork requirements.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Ensure opening procedures are completed so that the office is ready for staff to start work-day.  Ensure closing procedures are completed for the safety & security of all staff and property.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Regularly check all business communication methods on a daily basis to ensure that action items and updates are understood</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Attend staff meetings and engage in staff development training.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Responsible for assessing the supply needs for the general office needs and client facing areas, etc. and to make purchases through Human Resources</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure the clinic's efficient operation</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Be a resource to women seeking resources and referring to internal and external programs that align with our Statement of Principle and Statement of Faith</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Offer emotional support and empathy to patients, prioritizing care</li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type:disc">Follow all relevant safety and hygiene guidelines, including the proper handling of biohazard materials.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Perform other duties as assigned  </li></ul>Required Skills & Qualifications:<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc">Excellent communication skills - written and verbal</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Preferred working knowledge of health insurance and medical terminology</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Proficient in commonly-used computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, email, project management apps (Asana), time clock, messaging apps, and other relevant technologies</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Excellent organizational and time management skills;
