Under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs & General Counsel, Counsel provides day-to-day legal advice, drafting, transactional support, and matter management across the full range of areas handled by the OGC in support of a public, land-grant, historically Black university. Counsel supports the OGC's work in higher education and student affairs law, employment and labor matters, contracts and procurement, real estate and corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, litigation and claims management, intellectual property and sponsored research, and governance support.
