Timely investigation, analysis, and reporting all NYPORTS, ensuring that the regulatory requirements are met for root cause analysis, database tracking and generating data for the Director of Patient Safety & Risk Management, other departments, clinical chiefs, and the Medical Director and the Board of Trustees. Represents Risk Management on a number of different teams including Medication Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Morbidity & Mortality, and Risk Reduction Committees (falls, medication errors, pressure ulcers, DVT, etc) as well as other committees as assigned.
