Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year (Preferred 2 years) License: Active license required prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Proficient in reading, identifying, and reacting to cardiac rhythms - Experience in telemetry and cardiac/stroke care - Experience with cardiac drips, including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Lasix Description: This position requires a registered nurse for a step-down cardiac unit. Nurses will manage acute conditions such as chest pain, myocardial infarction, syncope, hypertension, and overdoses.
