The clinical associate/assistant professor and Couples & Relationship Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to provide direct clinical services (e.g., group, individual and couples counseling) to University of Florida students; as well as coordinate the couples counseling program at the CWC, including clinical services and training program elements. In addition to experience with couples & relationship counseling, the successful candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas related to collegiate mental health: assessment/psychological testing, neurodivergence, alcohol & other drug use, trauma, disordered eating concerns, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders, and/or psychotherapy and outreach with students from a range of identities/cultural backgrounds.
