The incumbent will apply advanced data engineering and informatics expertise within a cloud-native data environment (primarily Databricks, leveraging Apache Spark and Delta Lake for big-data processing and storage) to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and enterprise data marts that support public health program operations, analytics, and strategic decision-making. Informatics System/Data Engineering, Development, Monitoring, and Testing: Collaborates with senior engineering staff, the Clinical Informatics Specialist 4, and other Office of Data Strategy personnel to design, implement, and maintain highly complex public health data systems and pipelines.
