Your responsibilities will include: Assisting patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), monitoring vital signs, and supporting patient mobility and comfort Performing nursing tasks like wound care, catheter management, and non-medicated procedures as your skills develop Documenting patient information, observations and changes, and communicating important updates promptly to the nursing team Helping patients and families understand their care plans and preparing them for recovery through clear, compassionate education Maintaining a clean, safe patient environment by following safety protocols, managing equipment, and responding quickly to patient needs What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant Enrolled in LPN program Benefits Mission Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
