The LNA directly assists with providing care to meet patient hygiene needs, takes and records vital signs and weights, assists with transfers, ambulation and transportation, assists with food trays/nourishments, feeds patients and records intake & output, answers call lights and telephone, performs clerical tasks, assists with organizing supplies, applies/uses specified patient care equipment, and maintains a safe environment while performing care. SCOPE OF SERVICE: The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is an acuity adjustable unit providing care to a diverse patient population requiring medical-surgical and telemetry levels of care.
