Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and 5 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment; or completion of apprenticeship or training program and 7 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment. Advanced knowledge in a variety of machines and tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists; including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance .
