Use of precision measuring instruments and equipment (i.e., vernier calipers, inside, outside and depth micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, parallel blocks, go-no go gages, thread gages etc.) to attain accurate dimensions and maintain tolerances • Working knowledge of most machine shop equipment and machine shop math. Duties and Responsibilities: • Setting up and operating CNC machines (i.e., lathes, mills); ability to read and interpret blueprints, process and/or work instructions, sketches and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, set up procedure, control settings, machining methods and sequences required.
