Key Responsibilities Perform full machine setups, including tooling selection, offsets, and first article verification Operate and troubleshoot multi-axis CNC machines (3, 4, and 5-axis / mill-turn) Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and complex part drawings Maintain tight tolerances (as close as .0005”) and ensure high-quality output Edit and/or create CNC programs using machine controls or CAM software Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize efficiency and quality Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Equipment & Technology Candidates should have experience with multi-axis, mill-turn, and high-precision CNC equipment, such as: Okuma Multus U3000 (multi-tasking with sub-spindle & turret) Mazak Integrex (multi-axis mill-turn centers) DMG Mori NTX 2500 (5-axis turn-mill) Mori Seiki NZ1500 MY3 (multi-turret, multi-spindle) Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls Additional 5-axis machining centers and automated systems Required Qualifications 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment Strong experience with multi-axis machining (3, 4, or 5-axis / mill-turn) Proven ability to perform full setups independently Experience with tight tolerances and complex geometries Proficiency reading blueprints and applying GD&T Experience editing or writing CNC programs (Mazatrol, Fanuc, Okuma, etc.) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing Familiarity with multi-spindle or multi-turret machines Prior leadership or lead machinist experience CAM programming experience What Sets This Opportunity Apart Modern, clean, and well-equipped facility Investment in advanced CNC technology and automation Strong team culture with hands-on, supportive leadership Consistent overtime and strong earning potential Long-term career growth in a stable and expanding organization CNC Machinist (Multi-Axis) Liverpool, NY (onsite) 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (4-day workweek) Full-Time | Permanent | Overtime Available We are partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented precision manufacturing organization supporting industries such as aerospace, power generation, and advanced industrial applications.
