Responsibilities: <ul><li> Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to execute production tasks with precision and efficiency.</li><li> Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the job requirements and set up the machine accordingly.</li><li> Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers to inspect and verify the dimensions of parts.</li><li> Adjust machine settings (offsets) as required to maintain accuracy and meet production standards.</li><li> Identify and resolve issues with machines or parts, troubleshooting as necessary to ensure continuous operation.</li><li> Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work area.</li><li> Collaborate with team members and other shifts to ensure seamless transitions and consistent productivity.</li><li> Provide consultation and expert advice on machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to improve overall efficiency and productivity.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li> Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a CNC Operator/Machinist in a manufacturing environment.</li><li> In-depth knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).</li><li> Proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools, including calipers and gauges.</li><li> Extensive experience with machine set-ups and adjustments (offsets).</li><li> Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines, including mills and lathes.</li><li> Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.</li><li> Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.</li><li> Must be able to work both 2nd and 3rd shifts, with flexibility as needed.</li><li> Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members across shifts.</li><li> A commitment to safety and adherence to all company protocols and procedures.</li><li> High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in CNC operation or machining is preferred.</li></ul> Interested in hearing more?
