Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Cardiovascular Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of two years previous experience required License: Active Maryland licensed Radiologic Technologist or RCIS in lieu of MD license Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: ARRT(R) registration required Description: Responsible for assisting physicians with the performance of cardiology-related procedures. Includes diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, PCI, IABP insertion, pericardiocentesis, Swan-Ganz insertion, stress testing, nuclear stress testing, and implantable LOOP recorder.
