The Pharmacy Technician position provides service to any and all departments of Mile Bluff Medical Center hospital and clinics, including inventory management, acquisition, receiving, distribution, and dispensing of medications, billing activities, clinical interaction with the patient, working directly with nursing and medical staff, and management of the preparation of IV medications and chemotherapy. Manage and maintain the pharmacy and hospital inventory of medications including having an adequate supply of formulary approved medications available in all areas needed, managing emergency medication inventory and placement, managing shortages and drug recalls, and completing all elements of acquisition and return of medications to our wholesaler or the manufacturer.
