Apply Today!<h5>Job Summary and Qualifications</h5><h6></h6>The role of the Director of Physician Services (DPS) II is a strategic leader who oversees and takes ownership of a clinical operations market with 51 or more providers. The DPS II provides support to hospital facilities operations management related to physicians, including primary care, specialists, and subspecialists who practice in hospital and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include oversight of the operations, budget, and general management of a portfolio of practices within a defined geographic area or specialty. This individual will have strategic, ongoing communications and interactions with the relevant hospital division from both a strategic and tactical standpoint. Building effective partnerships with hospital and operations team members is integral to success in this role.What you will do in this role:<ul><li>You will demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to delivering exceptional care to create an unmatched value proposition for our patients</li><li>You will identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, removes barriers and resistance, and enable desirable behavior</li><li>You will collaborate effectively with Division service line leaders and hospital business development leaders</li><li>You will proactively identify practice/business development opportunities to increase market share</li><li>You will direct and manage strategic projects for areas such as patient flow, patient satisfaction, practice volume, billing and collections, service utilization, coding, physician and staff training</li><li>You will have strategic and tactical operational responsibility for the business and clinical functions through administrative and clinical staff including providers, front desk, medical records, nursing, and ancillary services to ensure maximum utilization of resources and the efficient delivery of services of his or her assigned practices. These responsibilities include Human Resources responsibilities. </li><li>You will develop, implement and monitor practice budgets including analyzing financial impact of changes and forecasts, and expenditures. Handles referrals, medical records and will mail/fax documents as necessary.</li></ul><ul><li>Check patients out, make return appointments, and collect payment for any services or products received.</li></ul><ul><li>Answer questions posed by patients and educate them on products or services they receive.
