Reassembly Technician - Body ShopLighthouse Collision Center is looking for an individual with at least one year of automotive experience to join our collision center team.  The ideal candidate has a servant heart, a good work ethic, strong communication skills, with a passion for restoring a vehicle to its pre-collision state after repair. Role Summary:
The Senior Process Engineering role at Rivian is critical to ensuring we not only meet production milestones but to do so effectively. In this front-line role, you will have a hand in improving current processes, partnering with cross functional teams and working through high level problem solving to meet KPIs. The opening is located at our Normal, IL facility and reports directly to the Process Engineering Manager. 

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Collaborate with manufacturing engineering group in equipment design, buyoff, and install for all new model launch activities.</li><li>Assist manufacturing engineering group with cell layout, rack design, PFMEA development.</li><li>Coach safety, quality, and production on standardized work development</li><li>Lead continuous improvement activity and drive problem resolution with cross functional groups including production, quality, engineering, and maintenance.</li><li>Optimize manufacturing processes to maximize productivity while reducing issues in regard to quality, productivity, and maintenance.</li><li>Assist manufacturing engineering group in successful runoff of equipment and ensure product and process meet all plant KPIs for mass production.</li><li>Work hand in hand with operations to mitigate production down time and increase process efficiencies.</li><li>Ability to lead projects, define project scopes and manage capital budgets.</li><li>Work with production to outline allocation of resources throughout the body shop.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>5+ years’ experience in automotive Body Shop environment</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field or equivalent work experience required.</li><li>Strong process skills and the ability to comprehend a wide variety of manufacturing processes including RSW, GMAW, laser welding, SPR, mastic, and adhesives.</li><li>Exceptional organization and data management skills</li><li>Experience with GD&T</li><li>APQP experience</li><li>2D & 3D modeling experience</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with cross functional teams.</li><li>Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day.</li><li>Required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.</li><li>Ability to perform all duties in a working environment that may contain dust, high noise levels, hot and cold weather.</li></ul>

Pay Disclosure:
The salary range for this role is $98,500-123,100 for Illinois based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Role Summary The Automation Controls Engineer for Equipment Engineering are the production line experts for controls in the facility in Normal, IL. This is Heavy PLC programming, not mechanical work. The team troubleshoots any technical issues during production, sometimes working with engineers on any changes, upgrades or configurations that are needed for future production changes.  Some of the Areas you could work in are Paint Shop, Material Flow, Body Shop, Stamping, Drive Unit/Inverter, Battery, General Assembly. This role is located at our Normal, IL facility and reports directly to the Manager, Automation Controls Engineering. Responsibilities Participate in various controls equipment buy-offs at vendor sites and at Rivian's factory in Normal, IL for FAT, SAT, and safety. Participate in development of controls standards and specifications by feeding back lessons-learned and gaps from each project to ensure that future projects will run smoother. Continuously improve the production lines by reducing cycle time, reducing downtime, and improving quality. Maintain, modify, and properly version control equipment programs, configuration files, and documentation as changes are implemented. This includes but is not limited to hardware, electrical, safety, pneumatic, network, PLC, HMI, Robot, SCADA, and MES. Add or remove network devices from the equipment as needed, updating network switch configurations as needed. Troubleshoot, improve, and add features to PLCs using Ladder Logic and/or Structured Text with an emphasis on code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable and reusable. Troubleshoot, improve, and add features to HMIs to make them more user-friendly, intuitive and suitable for operating and troubleshooting equipment. Implement and make modifications to MES logic for production and performance management in the PLCs and HMIs. Ensure proper implementation of and modifications to (ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant) control reliable safety systems for safeguarding robots, gantries, conveyors, and other high volume manufacturing equipment. Train Production and Maintenance teams in proper use of the equipment and troubleshooting from the HMI. Experience creating HMI projects from scratch for high-volume manufacturing equipment using FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware, TwinCAT HMI, or similar. Experience programming and troubleshooting industrial 6-axis robots such as Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki, etc. is preferred. Experience troubleshooting common fieldbus networks such as Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, or Profinet.
