Position Summary: Responsible for operating the main hospital switchboard equipment; handling incoming and outgoing calls; interfacing with all hospital departments, physicians, nursing units, patients, and others; operating the public address and overhead paging systems, using the computer terminal; receiving the public at the information desk.
