This position is responsible for performing the following tasks as assigned while receiving strategic supervision with assignments: • Provides technical leadership for new product development (NPD) mechanical workstreams and projects, accountable for technical quality, cost, schedule, and delivery of milestones. Manufacturing-process selection: understands when to use bent sheet metal, machined parts, castings, molded plastics, or alternative processes based on production volume, geometry, tolerances, tooling investment, supplier capability, and total cost.
