Organizes and coordinates community events that further the district's outreach and marketing strategy while identifying opportunities for engaging and communicating with local community, including: church leaders, civic group leaders, government officials, local business owners, institutional leaders, students, parents and volunteers. This position serves as a key liaison to families, neighborhood organizations, community groups and the broader Kansas City community to facilitate knowledge and understanding of KCPS programs, initiatives and practices, increasing support for the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the school district.
