<h4>Major/Essential Functions</h4><ul><li>Develop and manage publicity for the Lady Raider Basketball program as well as another sport(s) as assigned.</li><li>Write, research, compile, and edit various athletic department communications materials, including press releases, game notes, game programs, social media content, and feature articles for sports as assigned.</li><li>Coordinate gameday operations, press conferences, and supervise gameday staff for assigned sports.</li><li>Assist in overall maintenance and upkeep of athletic department website (www.texastech.com) with a specific focus on assigned sports.</li><li>Maintain and update record books, as well as student-athlete and coach biographies, in a timely manner. Manage and preserve statistical archives—both current and historical—for assigned sports.</li><li>Serve as social media contact for assigned sports. Contribute to the department’s social media communication efforts.</li><li>Contribute to departmental strategic planning for athletics communications. Build and sustain strong working relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets.</li><li>Oversee the hiring and training of all student employees and interns, setting weekly and monthly schedules to ensure events and office functions are fully staffed.</li><li>Manage all host responsibilities regarding television and media members.</li><li>Collaborate with creative video, graphic design, marketing, and digital teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across all platforms. <b>JOB SUMMARY</b><br/><br/>The Marketing Liaison interfaces with hospitals, skilled nursing homes, board and care homes and outpatient discharge planning services, and physician offices. Provides and acts as a community resource and public relations representative in facilitating safe quality healthcare in our communities.<br/><br/>The Marketing Liaison is expected to generate appropriate patient referrals/ admissions by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all referral sources.<br/><br/><b>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br/><ul><li>Generate business by creating new and maintaining existing relationships with physicians and other medical professionals, community and senior organizations, hospitals, appropriate special interest groups, discharge planners, nursing home professionals, assisted living facilities, and other potential referral sources.</li><li>Contacts, prepares, and conducts sales and educational presentations for physicians, businesses and local community groups regarding home care services and benefits.</li><li>Assists the Director of Business Development in establishing organization volume projections in the annual budget and in establishing allocations for the marketing department. Monitors allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.</li><li>Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.</li><li>Exceed client and internal expectations by providing daily communication and creative solutions to problems and bringing a positive attitude.</li><li>Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.</li><li>Documents all physician office visits, referral source visits, follow up, phone calls and gifts.
