Coker University Athletics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Assistant to support the Athletics Media Relations office. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in collegiate athletics communications, including content creation, game coverage, and digital media management.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li stories for all varsity sports</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11.5pt;font-family:'times new roman' , serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre">Maintain and update the athletics website with scores, statistics, rosters, and schedules</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11.5pt;font-family:'times new roman' , serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre">Assist with live game coverage, including statistics, serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre">Manage and grow athletics social media accounts with serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre">Produce weekly recaps, press releases, and other serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre">Assist with photography, video content, and graphic serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre">Coordinate with coaches and staff to ensure accurate management, journalism, or a related field</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11.5pt;font-family:'times new roman' , serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre">Acceptance into a Coker University graduate program</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11.5pt;font-family:'times new roman' , serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre">Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11.5pt;font-family:'times new roman' , serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre">Knowledge of athletics statistics and game flow
