The Marketing Specialist is responsible for performing duties to support the Marketing Department, including social media, press releases, newsletter, basic ad design and content for defined marketing channels; achieve goals as established in the company's annual strategic plan; responds to requests received and coordinates fulfillment of agreed upon donation, sponsorship and event to completion; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; comply with operating policies and procedures established for the marketing function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and completing assigned tasks. 1.Performs duties to support the Marketing Department whose function is to support and monitor marketing campaigns, prepare communications, advertisements, collateral and community involvement support as illustrated by the following: Monitors ads for accuracy and compliance and obtains appropriate approvals.
