Partner with Marketing and IT Shared Services functions to optimize adoption of CRM and implement e-Commerce tools that improve efficiency of customer interactions and quality of customer data. Minimum 7+ years in a senior leadership position (e.g., Director or VP level), with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead a business sales and marketing team to drive profitable growth.</li><li>Develop and execute sales plans by segment and geography, integrating with company quality and performance objectives.</li><li>Lead demand planning, forecasting, and SIOP processes to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.</li><li>Use KPIs and customer feedback to drive continual improvement and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Support customer complaint resolution and quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Drive brand and product visibility through digital channels, events, and customer outreach aligned with strategic goals.</li><li>Collaborate with Marketing Shared Service to ensure initiatives are compliant with applicable standards and regulations and that the company’s online presence is maintained and strengthened.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and reliability of pricing databases and systems.</li><li>Implement margin-improvement strategies using data analysis, with focus on customer and item profitability.</li><li>Partner with Marketing and IT Shared Services functions to optimize adoption of CRM and implement e-Commerce tools that improve efficiency of customer interactions and quality of customer data.</li><li>Participate in and contribute to strategic planning cycles, including five-year and annual plans.</li><li>Evaluate sales incentive structures and recommend improvements to ensure alignment with overall business growth objectives.</li><li>Lead a culture of accountability and performance through coaching, mentoring, and structured feedback.</li><li>Ensure competency requirements are met through onboarding, training, and development programs.</li><li>Lead customer and market development activities, including product launches and new market entry.</li><li>Serve as company representative at executive-level meetings and customer engagements.</li><li>Recommend and support New Product Development opportunities, M&A targets, market expansion efforts, and intellectual property strategy.</li><li>Oversee CRM, enhancements to ERP (D365), and pricing database implementations related to commercial operations.</li></ul>Authorities<ul><li>Approve sales and marketing strategies, budgets, and expenditures within Company’s Approval Matrix.</li><li>Set pricing strategies and approve major customer pricing agreements within Company’s Approval Matrix.</li><li>Direct recruitment, development, and performance evaluation of sales team.</li><li>Approve participation in trade shows, marketing events, and Public Relations initiatives.</li><li>Authorize customer communication and marketing materials.</li></ul>Minimum Qualification/Education Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on business administration, sales or marketing. MBA a plus.</li><li>15+ years of progressive sales and marketing experience, with at least 7+ years in a senior leadership role.</li><li>Proven experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams (U.S., Canada, Mexico, and international markets).</li><li>Strong knowledge of sales metrics, performance analysis, and market development.</li><li>Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, public relations, and trade show coordination.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred), e-commerce, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and pricing analytics.</li></ul>Minimum Skills Requirements<ul><li>Ability to lead cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Pricing Admin) to execute well across multiple geographies.</li><li>Talent development, coaching, and succession planning.</li><li>Performance management and setting clear objectives.</li><li>Change management and team motivation.</li><li>Strategic planning and business development.</li><li>Sales forecasting and budgeting.</li><li>Market analysis and segmentation.</li><li>Data interpretation from ERP/CRM systems and sales report.</li><li>Pricing strategy and gross margin improvement.</li></ul>Minimum Experience Requirements<ul><li>At least 15 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, and/or business development roles.</li><li>Minimum 7+ years in a senior leadership position (e.g., Director or VP level), with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.</li><li>Experience with sales of both commodity and engineered products in the transportation industry preferred.</li><li>Knowledge or experience with sales to Federal and/or state governments, Military, and Defense industry preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated success in: <ul><li>Leading national and international sales teams</li><li>Developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans</li><li>Implementing or managing ERP and CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce)</li><li>Managing pricing administration and revenue/profitability analysis</li><li>Participating in or leading M&A evaluations and integration</li></ul></li></ul>

Serve as an active and readily accessible resource for school personnel in all areas of communication.</li><li>Provides training among personnel on FERPA, Alabama Open Meetings Act and Alabama Open Records Act as it relates to the dissemination of information to the media and the public-at-large as to balance the right-to-know and sensitive data.</li><li>Responds to Alabama Open Records Act requests in a timely fashion.</li><li>Trains and assists schools in developing school-based strategic communications plans based on continuous improvement goals.</li><li>Oversees district's branding efforts and ensures implementation to fidelity.</li><li>Develops and produces innovative written and electronic communication (brochures, print and email newsletters, video productions, web content and related components) for internal and external audiences.</li><li>Serves as the spokesperson for the Alabaster City Schools as needed.</li><li>Prepares news releases, reports, speeches and advertising materials.</li><li>Reviews all advertising and public messages prior to release.</li><li>Attends appropriate committee and Board meetings, follow up with awards, presentations, communications, etc. for school district recognition activities.</li><li>Disseminates appropriate information for school district personnel and families through bulletins, newspapers, electronic communication, rapid notification systems and other means.</li><li>Plans and executes professional development activities for school personnel relating to communication and media relations.</li><li>Plans and executes special events on behalf of the Alabaster City Schools for the purpose of ensuring the programs are run according to district expectations and guidelines as directed.</li><li>Speaks to civic groups and other audiences as needed; coordinates speakers' bureau on issues related to the Alabaster City Schools.</li><li>Maintains and updates database of community organizations/contacts; mailing lists of citizens and support groups and others for use in disseminating messages about Alabaster City Schools and related issues.</li><li>Supervises and coordinates the Video and Media Specialist.</li><li>Serves as program director and primary liaison for the system's broadcast operations and coordinates student “live work opportunities” with teachers.</li><li>Supervises and coordinates the Digital Communication Specialist.</li><li>Oversees personnel for digital communication team, including school-based web leaders and social media teams.</li><li>Liaises with district coordinator of athletics in providing communications assistance to athletic programs.</li><li>Visits schools and work sites.</li><li>Attends community events and Board of Education meetings.</li><li>Adheres to federal, state, local and board rules and regulations.</li><li>Assumes other reasonable and equitable job-related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.</li></ol>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months (240 days)EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy.SALARY: Appropriate placement on current salary schedule.
