Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Histology, Biology, Laboratory Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific or technical field preferred HT or HTL certification preferred 2+ years of experience in histology, pathology, laboratory applications, technical support, or a related field Strong understanding of histology workflows, including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, sectioning, staining, and slide preparation Experience working with laboratory equipment and troubleshooting technical or workflow-related issues Experience providing training, technical support, or customer assistance preferred Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate technical information clearly to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the continental United States Prior experience as a Field Application Specialist, Applications Specialist, Clinical Application Specialist, or similar customer-facing technical role, a plus Experience supporting laboratory automation, medical devices, pathology systems, or other laboratory technologies, a plus Experience working with automated tissue sectioning or histology equipment, a plus Experience supporting product testing, validation, or implementation, a plus Familiarity with regulated laboratory or medical device environments, a plus Experience delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, or customer training, a plus Ability to translate laboratory needs into practical technical and application solutions, a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to travel regularly to customer sites and other business locations throughout the continental United States Ability to work in laboratory and clinical environments while following applicable safety requirements Ability to operate and demonstrate technical equipment Ability to stand for extended periods during customer training, demonstrations, and laboratory activities Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment, supplies, and materials in accordance with applicable safety guidelines.
