Manages the unit's communication systems (phone, pagers, voceras, patient call bells, fax, etc.), to facilitate communication between members of the health care team, the patient, family and care partner. Prepares compiles and maintains the patient's medical record on the nursing unit, both paper and paperless charts in compliance with HIMMS Level 7 certification from admission through discharge, utilizing the current I.S. system.
