We believe meaningful engagement and visible community presence are essential to expanding awareness and access to respite care services.</p><hr/><h2>Position Summary</h2><p>The Community Engagement Specialist supports the organization's mission by executing local outreach, relationship-building, and community-facing activities within an assigned region.</p><p>This role serves as a visible representative of the organization at events, meetings, and community touchpoints, helping to strengthen partnerships, increase awareness of respite care services, and support regional engagement goals.</p><p>The Specialist works closely with the Community Engagement Manager to ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and outreach efforts across all regions.</p><hr/><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>Regional Outreach & Relationship Support</h3><ul><li><p>Serve as a primary point of contact for community partners, agencies, and local stakeholders within the assigned region.</p></li><li><p>Attend community meetings, health fairs, outreach events, and networking opportunities to promote organizational services.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain positive relationships with schools, service providers, nonprofits, and civic organizations.</p></li></ul><hr/><h3>Event & Engagement Support</h3><ul><li><p>Assist with planning and on-the-ground execution of regional events, outreach activities, and awareness campaigns.</p></li><li><p>Support logistics for tabling events, workshops, trainings, and community presentations.</p></li><li><p>Help coordinate volunteers, materials, and on-site needs during events.</p></li></ul><hr/><h3>Community Presence & Representation</h3><ul><li><p>Represent the organization professionally and positively in public-facing settings.</p></li><li><p>Share information about programs, services, and resources with families, partners, and community members.</p></li><li><p>Collect feedback and insights from the community and relay them to the Community Engagement Manager.</p></li></ul><hr/><h3>Administrative & Reporting Support</h3><ul><li><p>Track outreach activities, contacts, and event participation for the assigned region.</p></li><li><p>Assist with data entry, follow-ups, and basic reporting related to engagement efforts.</p></li><li><p>Maintain regional outreach materials, inventory, and supplies.</p></li></ul><hr/><h2>Secondary Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p>Support organization-wide engagement initiatives as needed.</p></li><li><p>Assist with special projects, campaigns, or seasonal events (e.g., Back-to-School, Holiday Drives).</p></li><li><p>Occasionally support events outside the assigned region based on staffing needs.</p></li></ul><hr/><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Social Services, or related field preferred.</p></li><li><p>24 years of experience in community outreach, customer service, or public-facing roles.</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to engage diverse communities with cultural awareness and professionalism.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working independently in the field and as part of a team.</p></li><li><p>Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.</p></li></ul><hr/><h2>Core Competencies</h2><ul><li><p>Community Relationship Building</p></li><li><p>Public Engagement & Outreach</p></li><li><p>Communication & Active Listening</p></li><li><p>Organization & Time Management</p></li><li><p>Cultural Competency</p></li><li><p>Adaptability & Initiative</p></li></ul><hr/><h2>Physical Requirements</h2><p>Must be able to travel throughout the assigned region, stand for extended periods during events, lift and transport materials up to 25 lbs., and work in indoor and outdoor environments.</p><hr/><h2>Environmental Requirements</h2><p>Work is performed in community settings, offices, and public venues. Job Summary: The Outreach Specialist is a member of our Marketing, Outreach, & Enrollment (MOE) team and is the owner and driver accountable for successful enrollment of prospective participants into our PACE program. Establish and maintain best-in-class relationships with community leaders and partners including senior centers, assisted living facilities, food banks, churches, and other community-based organizations.

Job Summary: The Outreach Specialist is a member of our Marketing, Outreach, & Enrollment (MOE) team and is the owner and driver accountable for successful enrollment of prospective participants into our PACE program. They do this by developing and building relationships and generating quality participant referrals that lead to enrollment. They are key to our success and why we are the fastest growing PACE program in California. Our Outreach Specialists are sales professionals who are metrics-driven, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are great collaborators who promote the company's values, team culture, and mission. Essential Job Duties: Coordinate and initiate outreach and engagement activities in the communities where seniors live. Consistently meet monthly enrollment metric goals. Identify opportunities to collaborate with community organizations to generate qualified leads, leading to potential enrollments. Establish and maintain best-in-class relationships with community leaders and partners including senior centers, assisted living facilities, food banks, churches, and other community-based organizations. Develop and implement monthly marketing plans to achieve monthly enrollment goals with MOE Director. Provide education regarding the company's services to referral sources in the community. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing or health care administration preferred. DHCS training and exam as a marketing representative within 30 days of hire. Minimum of two years of experience in a sales and marketing role with at least one year in a healthcare or senior care setting (within service area preferred; outside sales experience preferred. Technology experience which can include Salesforce, Athena, etc.
