ICLS provides legal assistance in eight practice groups: Elder, Family Law, Consumer, Housing, Immigration, Systemic & Impact Litigation, Health Law, and Public Benefits & Education; and a Pro Bono Program, operating volunteer-enhanced client programs, including Small Business & Nonprofit, Expungement, LGBTQ+ Services, HIV Services, Guardianship, Disaster Preparation & Response, and Student Programs, among others. The role delivers general disaster preparedness, response, and recovery education with a legal readiness component; represents ICLS with emergency management and nonprofit partners; produces printed and digital outreach materials; and tracks and reports grant deliverables for ICLS and its partner organizations.
