About the Position: You will serve as the technical authority on complex geology and hydrogeology for Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) projects for the Kansas City District Civil Works and Military projects, leading in-house and contracted teams in site investigations, designs remedial solutions, and directing project workflows and providing vital technical consultation and solutions to stakeholders. Basic Requirement for a Geologist: A. Degree: Bachelors degree (or higher degree) in geology, plus 20 additional semester hours in any combination of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological science, structural, chemical, civil, mining or petroleum engineering, computer science, planetary geology, comparative planetology, geophysics, meteorology, hydrology, oceanography, physical geography, marine geology, and cartography.
