Education: Bachelor''s degree in computer, electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering, Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience to include: Experience in evaluating technologies for incorporation into identified Program Office portfolios, developing/managing technical contracts, and identifying/coordinating technical issues and policy across various technical capability areas. Through rapid assessment events, technical experimentation, and streamlined collaboration mechanisms, DIR‑S&T reduces duplication, leverages external R&D, and matures high-potential solutions across priority capability areas such as warfighter performance, battlespace awareness, resilient communications and computing, scalable effects, and signature reduction.
