Manage Baseline Availability Work Package (BAWP) for assigned surface ships throughout the recurring deployment, repair, and training cycles by utilizing Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) database, Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP) database, NAVSEA Data Environment (NDE), Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Advanced Industrial Management (AIM), Technical Assistance and Assessment Scheduling (TAAS) database, Validation, Screening and Brokering (VSB), and/or other website/databases as needed. The Surface Maintenance Engineering, Planning, Program (SURFMEPP) maintains, monitors, and refines Class-wide and Individual-Ship Maintenance Plans for all non-nuclear surface ships to ensure material readiness for the projected service life, develop life-cycle strategies to address system upgrades, and fully implement the Class Maintenance Plan into each surface ship's maintenance schedule and availability planning process.
