Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with library systems, library vendors, or in a consortial environment, or comparable professional experience; Experience troubleshooting resource sharing or acquisitions issues; Experience with project management in academic, government, or consortial library settings; Considerable experience in academic libraries with increasing responsibility; Experience with library consortia and resource sharing operations; Record of professional engagement and contributions to the library profession through presentations, publications, committee leadership, or professional service; Leadership experience managing cross-institutional projects or teams; Knowledge of acquisitions workflows in academic libraries; Demonstrated ability to evaluate program effectiveness and communicate impact to varied stakeholders; Understanding of consortial interlibrary loan programs and library sharing technologies; and. Serves as the primary VIVA support to its resource sharing community, including standing committees, task forces, working groups, and advisory bodies; With the Associate Director, researches, evaluates, and supports the licensing of services and subscriptions that advance resource sharing capabilities across Commonwealth institutions.
