The Conservation Trust Fund Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to help shape and launch high-impact Conservation Trust Funds that will secure long-term financing for nature across multiple countries, working closely with TNC's global finance teams, country programs, and partners to design, develop, and operationalize these funds while driving forward major Project Finance for Permanence and Nature Bonds initiatives; the Specialist will lead and support project management across complex, multicultural teams, facilitate multi-stakeholder processes, analyze legal and institutional frameworks, co-develop governing documents and technical materials, coordinate technical assistance, strengthen CTF operations, deliver capacity-building programs, represent TNC in strategic negotiations and meetings, and guide the successful implementation of CTF work streams from planning through execution, all while navigating dynamic challenges, solving complex problems, and contributing to innovative conservation finance models that protect ecosystems for generations to come; the position offers significant autonomy, collaboration with global leaders, and the chance to influence conservation outcomes at scale, with flexible location options in any country where TNC is registered and established. We are looking for a conservation finance specialist with project manager skills who is comfortable working at a global level on large and complex projects within a matrixed organization, ideally with familiarity and experience working with CTFs.
