Under general supervision, inspects the construction, repair, and alteration of structures and grounds to ensure compliance with plumbing, gas, and mechanical codes, laws, and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and welfare of the community. Conducts, and participates in the inspection of plumbing, gas, and mechanical construction, repair, and alteration activities to ensure compliance with approved permits, plans, specifications, and codes.
