We’re hiring Laborers to help us build one-of-a-kind architecture. As a Dowbuilt laborer, you’re integral to the success of our projects, always ready to lend a hand and ensure our jobsites are clean and safe. Our laborers are reliable, positive, open to feedback, and motivated to learn from the best in the industry.WHAT YOU’LL DOLaborers are instrumental to the success of every Dowbuilt project. Day-to-day, you will:<ul><li>Clean up the site, load/unload materials weighing 50 lbs+, install property protection and organize tools and materials</li><li>Provide assistance with sitework (i.e., digging a trench)</li><li>Be proactive; what needs to be done first? What needs to be done next?</li><li>Work in an organized fashion and be accountable for your work</li><li>Clearly communicate ideas and information; be inquisitive and resourceful</li><li>Work safely and keep teammates safe</li><li>Assist in maintaining job site security (i.e., ensure safety of all people, tools, and materials)</li><li>Occasionally drive a company vehicle, depending on site location (must be able to provide a clean motor vehicle report prior to approval)</li></ul>WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDTo succeed as a laborer, you’ll bring:<ul><li>The ability to meet the following physical requirements:<ul><li>Work in all weather conditions</li><li>Lift a minimum of 50 lbs</li><li>Ability to work in a dusty environment and on uneven terrain</li><li>Ability to work in tight or high places (i.e., scaffolding and crawlspaces)</li></ul></li><li>A willingness to follow direction and perform work as required</li><li>Basic carpentry tools (i.e., belt with hammer holster, utility knife, 30’ measuring tape, cordless drill and bit holder, gloves, hammer);</li><li>Basic understanding of job site organization and construction practices</li><li>Positive attitude, self-awareness, and care for others</li><li>Some knowledge of safety and health procedures (ongoing safety training provided)</li><li>Reliable transportation (this is a must)</li><li>U.S. work authorization</li></ul>WHAT WE OFFERWe are a fun, easygoing bunch of professionals who take a lot of pride in the work we do. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. New hires typically start below the midpoint of the range, with the opportunity for growth and advancement over time. We’re hiring a Superintendent to lead a one-of-a-kind, high-end residential projects. Dowbuilt superintendents are positive, humble, solution-oriented individuals who are passionate about great design and unique building challenges. This position offers an opportunity to lead teams that are dedicated to the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship.  WHAT YOU’LL DOAs superintendent, you’ll be the on-site construction manager, in charge of building one-of-a-kind architecture. You’ll be responsible for:<ul><li>Ensuring work is performed safely, in accordance with plans and specifications, and in compliance with local building codes</li><li>Daily constructability problem-solving</li><li>Onsite quality control throughout project lifecycle</li><li>Partnering with the project manager to develop and manage the project schedule in MS Project; contributing to estimate creation in preconstruction phase</li><li>Maintaining plans, specifications, as-builts, and other necessary documentation</li><li>Managing subcontractors and all related elements (i.e., scheduling, evaluating work performed, safety compliance, submittal review, shop drawings, RFIs)</li><li>Managing entire field crew and maximizing supplier relationships, keeping communication open and professional</li><li>Daily walk-throughs and job log of all required information (i.e., personnel, owner visits, inspectors, architects, hazard identification and abatement, weather, near misses)</li><li>Professionally representing Dowbuilt with clients, architects, owner’s reps, project managers, subcontractors, management, field staff, and neighbors/HOA representatives</li><li>Coordinating material deliveries, handling, storage, and placement (with foreman support)</li><li>Training and directing field crew and conducting performance evaluations</li><li>Maintaining job site security (i.e., ensure safety of all people, tools, and materials)</li></ul>WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDTo be successful as a Dowbuilt superintendent, you’ll need:<ul><li>15 years of superintendent experience, 5 years high-end, custom residential</li><li>Experience working through design details and constructability challenges directly with architects and designers to achieve design intent</li><li>Degree in Construction Management or related field OR equivalent professional experience</li><li>Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications</li><li>Journeyman-level carpentry skills</li><li>Excellent communication, team-building and mentoring skills</li><li>Deep technical building knowledge and experience with both traditional and new materials and methods</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project</li><li>Proficiency in Procore, preferred </li><li>Experience with Sage 300 CRE is a plus, but not required</li><li>U.S. work authorization</li></ul>WHAT WE OFFERWe are a fun, easygoing bunch of professionals who take a lot of pride in the work we do.
