Our projects include a wide variety of legal work, including handling disputes on construction projects that involve the following: - Energy projects, including wind, solar, hydroelectric, and natural gas facilities - Agricultural, food processing, and industrial facilities - Mining and natural resource facilities - Athletic stadiums and facilities - Fulfillment center projects - Manufacturing, research & development, and warehouse facilities - General commercial construction Qualified candidates will have: - A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school; - Two to five years of transactional/contract experience involving construction projects; - Colorado bar admission or the ability to become admitted in Colorado; - Strong attention to detail; - Excellent writing and organizational skills; and - Top academic credentials. This position involves drafting and negotiating EPC/BOP contracts, cost-plus contracts, fixed-price contracts, CM agreements, professional services agreements (e.g., engineering, architectural, etc.), subcontractor and supply agreements, and a variety of other commercial contracts.
