Responsibilities:
<div>Centrus Energy is seeking a Lead Construction Project Manager to drive the successful execution of complex construction projects. This leadership role ensures projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental stewardship while maintaining schedule and budget integrity.<hr/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Directly manage construction contracts and oversee EPC contractor performance.</li><li>Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project phases.</li><li>Lead and inspire a team of project management and engineering professionals.</li><li>Proactively identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies.</li><li>Review and approve contractor invoices and purchasing documents with precision and accountability.</li><li>Analyze project trends and interpret earned value reports to monitor progress and performance.</li><li>Provide technical review for design activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.</li><li>Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and senior leadership.</li><li>Communicate project status clearly and effectively to senior leadership and key decision-makers.</li><li>Travel as required (25–50%) to support on-site project execution and stakeholder engagement.</li></ul></div> 

Qualifications:
<ul><li>B.S. degree in Engineering or Physical Science, or equivalent substantial technical experience.</li><li>10+ years of progressive experience in the design, construction, and/or operations of large-scale projects, specifically those exceeding $25 million.</li><li>5+ years of direct management experience leading project teams.</li><li>Demonstrated advanced experience in managing programmatic elements for complex, large-scale projects.</li><li>Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience managing projects within nuclear facilities or similar highly regulated environments.</li><li>Proven project experience with DOE, NNSA, NRC, or DOD projects, or equivalent robust regulatory frameworks.</li><li>Expert-level knowledge across construction, engineering, procurement, performance assurance, and project risk management, including a deep understanding of their interdependencies.</li><li>Extensive experience and demonstrated skill in directing cost engineering functions, encompassing estimating, control, and analysis.</li><li>Proficiency in directing planning and scheduling functions, including comprehensive schedule development, progress reporting, and detailed analysis.</li><li>Proven ability to establish and oversee criteria for project controls activities, ensuring effective execution of project controls programs.</li><li>Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance. </li></ul>A Successful Candidate Brings:<ul><li>Active “Q” or Top Secret security clearance</li><li>A Master's degree in a technological or business field.</li><li>Six Sigma and/or other quality management certifications.</li><li>PMI PMP certification or equivalent recognized project management credential.</li></ul> In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements. Be able to work collaboratively with a project team, take direction, work independently, gracefully handle changing and evolving directives, and have the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

<ul><li>Perform on-site observations of the progress and quality of the work to determine in general if the work is being performed in a manner indicating that the work when completed will be in conformance with the Contract Documents.</li><li>Maintain a log of activities for each project, nature and location of work being performed, verbal instructions and interpretations given to the Contractor, and specific observations.</li><li>Receive and respond to requests from the Contractor for information and, with assistance of the Project Team, provide interpretations of Contract Documents.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of supplemental instructions.</li><li>Attend construction meetings and report to the Project Team on the proceedings and document meetings.</li><li>Be proficient in MS Office and Construction Management Software, be comfortable working with new technologies.</li><li>As the project documentation, records and submittals are maintained in digital formats, utilize Bluebeam for notation, markups and communication with the design and build team.</li><li>Be able to work collaboratively with a project team, take direction, work independently, gracefully handle changing and evolving directives, and have the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.</li></ul>
