Ensures warehouse equipment and vehicles are in satisfactory condition by coordinating routine inspections of warehouse equipment and company vehicles identifying when repairs are necessary, scheduling maintenance and repairs with appropriate personnel, following up with mechanics on repair progress and completion, ensuring proper storage and safe handling of equipment, identifying when replacement equipment may be needed, and coordinating with the Warehouse Manager and Procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective equipment purchases. Maintains the efficient operation of the general warehouse, SDFC and Singing Hills activities and staff by implementing policies, procedures, and internal controls, scheduling and assigning duties to shipping and receiving staff, monitoring daily shipping and receiving processes, proper storage, and distribution of merchandise, overseeing stock and par levels, ensuring areas are clean, orderly, and organized, and providing physical support when needed.
