Commitment to RHW 247 Safety Culture • High school or technical school diploma or equivalent, combinations of technical training and/or related experience • 7-10 years experience in a leadership role in underground or utility construction • Demonstrated ability to successfully supervise projects of at least $3.5M with the capacity to manage single projects between $4M and $8M • Thorough knowledge of pump and machine repair, basic electrical knowledge, craft agreements, jurisdiction negotiations, engineering, cost control, schedules, and safety required • Knowledge and understanding of the general and subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications, construction means, methods, and materials, understanding of line and grade, and survey methods • Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures • Computer skills required, including familiarity with Microsoft office suite programs • Knowledge of scheduling software, such as Primavera and Microsoft Project • Strong management leadership and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing • Building Superintendent license required • Capable of obtaining various certificates and licenses required by the industry and customers, and/or requested by the Division Manager or Operations Manager • OSHA 10 Construction Certification or ability to obtain during pre-employment company-provided online training • Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Drivers License.
