Functional expertise should include Detailed Production Planning (DTP), Project and Network Planning, Make-to-Order (MTO) Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and MRP Live, Model Unit Parameter Effectivity (MUPE)-based planning, MRP Simulation, Detailed Scheduling, Takt Time Planning, Consumption-Based Planning, Subcontract Manufacturing, Planned and Production Order Management, Material Master configuration (MRP and Work Scheduling views), Material Substitution Functionality, Bills of Material (including Super BOMs), Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions, Capacity Planning, and Assembly Processing. The consultant should also possess strong cross-functional integration knowledge with SAP IBP and other enterprise planning solutions, along with deep integration across SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Service Management (SM/MRO).
