Overview:
We are seeking a highly-motivated intern to join our Geotechnical Engineering Discipline in our Mays Landing, NJ office.  Colliers Engineering & Design, an affiliate of Colliers, is a trusted provider of multi-discipline engineering, design and consulting services to public and private sector clients. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects.</li><li>Read and review project drawings and plans.</li><li>Use Geosystems and ArcGIS Pro software under the direction of Engineers.</li><li>Observe project sites and evaluate contractors’ work to detect problems with a design.</li><li>Prepare reports and document project activities and data.</li><li>Prepare analyses from collected data.</li><li>Set up and help maintain project files and records.</li><li>In addition to the work-centered program, we also offer robust internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or a related field.</li><li>Interest in Geotechnical Engineering.</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to the office and project sites.</li><li>Basic understanding of ArcGIS or AutoCAD preferred.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Possess solid problem-solving skills.</li><li>Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.</li><li>Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.</li><li>Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.</li></ul> Compensation: $16.00 -$20.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)

The Project Manager leads the project team with a focus on the customer, utilizing open communication, setting clear direction, and establishing high levels of expectations.This position requires passion, dedication, and a strong sense of accountability with the ability to align with the executive team to optimize growth potential and contribute to the strategic objectives of the Company.Project Manager Responsibilities: <ul><li>Collaborate with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase</li><li>Read and Interpret Construction Plans and Specifications</li><li>Mentor less experienced Project Management staff on the daily duties required to effectively manage a construction project</li><li>Work with your Team's existing Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to establish long-term relationships to identify and obtain future project opportunities</li><li>Oversee the Subcontractor and Vendor procurement by supervising the completion of buyout, scope of work review, contract writing, insurance and bonding reviews, etc.</li><li>Guide the research and recommendation of resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts and errors</li><li>Manage the Team that processes all Submittals, RFI’s, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, Time Sheet Management, Subcontractor/Vendor Billings, Monthly Reports, etc.</li><li>Ensure the preparation of timely Owner Billings via the verification of work-in-place quantities/billings from Subcontractors and Suppliers</li><li>Verify the production of accurate monthly cost projections which forecast total estimated costs at completion</li><li>Oversight of the creation and monitoring of Project Schedules and production of progress updates</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's degrees in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
