Review Contractor design and construction submittals- On site observations of construction activities, including pile driving, subgrade preparation, installation of monitoring instrumentation- Collaborates with both junior and senior level staff to accomplish goalsRequired Skills & Required Experience- BS in Civil Engineering (MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred or in progress)- Ideal experience would 3-5 years of diverse geotechnical experience, including transportation project experience, preferably for NJDOT, NJ Turnpike or county agencies. Certain positions are also eligible to receive overtime pay, whereas all non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime (subject to approval).In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employeesResponsibilities- Interprets laboratory test results to determine design parameters- Develop and provide oversight of geotechnical instrumentation programs and data collection including conventional piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers, and tiltmeters.-
