Requirements Core knowledge of construction techniques, construction/project management, and basic contract administration; Demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge to inspect ongoing construction activities and verify compliance with contract documents, specifications, permits, and drawings; An ability to organize, plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects; Good oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface and coordinate work daily with other Brookfield divisions and external organizations; Good negotiation skills with clients, contractors, and vendors; Strong project management and organizational skills. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Power or comparable Engineering field or equivalent experience ; Minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience; Experience/exposure in power generation field preferred; Field experience with hazards associated with heavy civil construction work; Experience in occupational health & safety and environmental regulation; OSHA 30-hour Construction certification preferred; Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
