This position is located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.Adult Protective Services SpecialistThis position is a temporary contract position with the potential opportunity of transitioning to a permanent state, full time employment role.  Pay Rate: <ul><li style="margin-bottom:13px">Level I   H26A $21.61 per hour</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px">Level II H26B - $22.10 per hour</li></ul>Travel is EXTENSIVE – Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain valid car insurance as insured driver.This position plays an integral part in keeping vulnerable Oklahoma adults safe.  In this position, you will receive and investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.  You will determine the capacity and provide voluntary or involuntary services based on needs, and you'll coordinate service plans, prepare legal forms, attend court hearings, and provide testimony as necessary.Minimum QualificationsAdult Protective Services Specialist, Level I - A bachelor's degree in any field is required for this level.Adult Protective Services Specialist, Level II - Applicant may either have a master’s degree; or a bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in professional social work.The complexity of the duties assigned will in part depend on the level of experience.
