Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Prioritize the design and execution of a large number of building construction, maintenance, and repair projects in facilities located throughout multiple geographic areas in the United States or overseas; Perform Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution of funds for facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization of a large inventory of administrative, educational, medical, and/or other facilities; Communicate orally and in writing with professionals of varying backgrounds and functions at all levels of an organization and with external organizations such as Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Service component staffs by preparing and delivering reports and presentations; Utilize software systems for managing and reporting on enterprise facilities data and facilities maintenance programs; Develop and manage government facility construction contracts; and Develop and maintain facility service contracts. Time-in-grade documentation: If you are applying for a higher grade and your SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you meet the one year time-in-grade requirement so you will need to provide an SF-50 which clearly demonstrates you meet the time-in-grade requirements (examples of appropriate SF-50s include Promotions, Within-grade Grade/Range Increases, and SF-50s with an effective date more than one year old).
