The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly trustworthy, and experienced in managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and benefits administration. Key Responsibilities Finance & Accounting<ul><li>Process vendor invoices, payments, and manual checks with precision and accountability</li><li>Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable with accuracy and integrity</li><li>Reconcile monthly credit card statements, reimbursements, and cash deposits ensuring financial transparency</li><li>Prepare month-end reports and vendor fee tracking with high attention to detail</li><li>Coordinate with external partners on reimbursements and financial documentation</li><li>Support banking activities, including remote deposits, in-person deposits, reconciliations, and reporting</li></ul>Payroll & HR Administration<ul><li>Accurately track employee time off, reimbursements, and updates in internal databases</li><li>Manage payroll processing with confidentiality and reliability</li><li>Maintain meticulous employee records and support compliance with company policies</li></ul>Benefits & Leave Administration<ul><li>Track eligibility and support employees through open enrollment with clarity and care</li><li>Process terminations, COBRA, Workers' Compensation claims, and leave requests (including maternity leave) with discretion and accuracy</li><li>Compliance & Reporting</li><li>Prepare and submit government filings, reports, and recurring month-end packages with accuracy and timeliness</li><li>Ensure adherence to company policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate employee recognition programs (anniversaries, gifting) in alignment with company values</li><li>Support employee development through training coordination and certification tracking</li><li>Manage office supplies, maintenance scheduling, and vendor relationships with reliability</li><li>Serve as a trusted liaison between staff, leadership, banking partners, and accounting teams</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of experience in corporate office operations with a strong background in A/R and A/P</li><li>Payroll experience required</li><li>Proven track record of integrity, discretion, and trust in handling sensitive financial and HR information</li><li>Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace; ADP and TASC experience a plus</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with precision</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and cross-functionally</li><li>High level of attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to upholding company values</li></ul><a href="https://3.basecamp.com/4849977/buckets/31170915/boosts/new?boost%5Bboostable_gid%5D=Z2lkOi8vYmMzL1JlY29yZGluZy85MTg1MDU2ODY5" rel="nofollow"></a>

Essential Job Accountabilities <ul><li>Plan, direct and supervise plant workers associated with the mining, processing, stockpiling, loading and distribution of aggregates, hot mix asphalt (HMA), or related construction materials, to ensure optimum long-term profitability. </li><li>Estimate cost of materials including accurately reading plan specifications to ensure precision in internal and/or external quotes. </li><li>Determine manpower levels, inventory quantities, equipment, and work schedules to ensure plant is optimally ran. </li><li>Develop and manage P&L budgets for material operations to ensure corporate financial goals are achieved. </li><li>Perform weekly safety meetings with employees to ensure corporate safety standards are maintained. </li><li>Analyze material production and cost reports to ensure production and financial goals are met. </li><li>Administer maintenance, repair, and management of all plant equipment for assigned facilities in accordance with Corporate Equipment Standards, Policies and Procedures. </li><li>Compare costs and best value of plant equipment repair including contracting outside vendors, using in-house labor or equipment replacements to ensure the most cost effective choices are made. </li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with owners, the local community, local unions and other representatives to promote Granite's long-term interests. </li><li>Coordinate work requirements with equipment and construction departments to ensure project timelines are met. </li><li>Manage, mentor and train the plant staff to ensure we attract, develop and retain the very best talent in the industry.
