p>About Providence House: Providence House offers a range of specialized addiction treatment services, including adult residential care, outpatient programs, individualized and group counseling, comprehensive drug and alcohol evaluations, and personalized treatment planning. Obtain necessary releases of information, ensuring compliance with federal confidentiality regulations (42 CFR) when communicating with clients, families, guardians, and healthcare providers.
p>To provide family counseling, suicide assessments, prevention, and follow-up services for youth and families; to coordinate services with Emergency Rooms, in-patient facilities, schools, and other community agencies; to oversee and participate in all work activities; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. Must possess either a provisional or regular Wyoming license as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Addiction Therapist, Certified Social Worker, or Certified Mental Health Worker.
Provide counseling for students at risk, coordinate with local law enforcement agencies to improve security on school grounds and to assure that there is cooperation between the school system and the enforcement agencies. WV Department of Education, the Drug Free Schools Program, and the Wyoming County Board of Education as related to his/her particular school assignments.
Services include education and counseling addressing financial services that may include, but are not limited to, one-on-one counseling, consultation with a commander or with another provider or staff, conducting briefings and presentations, or providing referral resources to a participant outside the context of a counseling session. Coordinates, publicizes and provides a wide variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops, e.g., topics across the military lifecycle, including, but not limited to, arrival at first duty station, pre- and post-deployment, and personal and career events outlined in DoDI 1322.34.
p>CYB-MFLC responsibilities include: Work at installation Child Development Centers (CDCs) with children 0-5, before or after-school care centers for school-aged children, youth and teens on educational activities and appropriate developmental focus. The Child and Youth Behavioral Military and Family Life Counselor (CYB-MFLC) position offers a unique opportunity to serve a vital role, in providing non-medical support, which includes counseling, consultation, and outreach, to eligible faculty, staff, parents, children, and youth.
