The position also requires sufficient manual dexterity to handle, grasp, and manipulate documents, materials, and office equipment; the ability to reach, bend, stoop, and kneel to retrieve, store, or arrange materials and supplies; the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull program materials, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds; and sufficient physical ability to transport instructional materials between locations and set up program spaces. Unlike general academic counseling roles, this position functions in close collaboration with the Justice Scholars manager and program facilitator and designs academic planning around the scheduled general education courses for Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall rather than assuming traditional on-campus Comprehensive Student Educational Plans.
