Qualifications:Current license in the State of Georgia (LPC)Master's degree in counseling, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or universityAt least 2 years' experience providing mental health and substance abuse services to children and adolescentsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build rapport, trust and comfort with patientsStrong team/consensus building skillsAbility to effectively resolve conflict and cope with crisis situationsExcellent assessment, time management, documentation and organization skillsMust pass a National Criminal Background Check and Drug ScreeningOther Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms clerical duties and completes reports as assignedMaintain certification/licensure, to include the procurement of appropriate CMEsParticipate in agency meetings, in-service trainings and workshops as deemed appropriateAll other duties as assigned Provide individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of psycho-educational groups and support groupsEngage in direct consultation with primary care providers, nurses, psychiatrists and other primary and behavioral health care staff to ensure continuity & integration of servicesMaintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all grant requirementsProvide clinical oversight to other behavioral health providers on the integrated care team, to include coaching, mentoring and guidance of newer clinicians and interns, as needed.
